More than 2,800 people work for Appalachian Power Company (APCo) — and most of us live right here in the communities we serve. We send our children to the same schools, attend the same community events and care deeply about the future of Appalachia.
We believe we have a responsibility to give back, and through our volunteer work and community partnerships, we’re committed to creating meaningful connections that make a difference.
Through the APCo Foundation, our nonprofit charitable organization funded entirely by shareholder dollars, we support causes and organizations dedicated to strengthening educational programs, housing and food security, emergency services, disaster relief and more.
From helping fill buses with school supplies to supporting flood relief and community food drives, our employees are proud to stand beside our Appalachian neighbors.
