Appalachian Power, an American Electric Power company, is pursuing additional wind and solar generation resources, along with energy storage resources, and renewable energy certificates, via the following requests for proposals (RFPs).
2023 APCO Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Blanket Contract RFP - Proposals Due July 18, 2023
This RFP is requesting a proposal to prepare for a possible future, multi-year blanket purchase agreement, which would contain standard catalog items at designated sizes. The scope would be the manufacture, delivery, off-load and assembly of portions of BESS installations including batteries, inverters, MV transformer, and/or site controllers.
2023 APCO PSA, PPA, and REC RFPs - Proposals Due May 31, 2023
The RFPs are requesting bids for up to 600 MW of wind and/or solar via one or more purchase and sale agreements (PSAs), up to 200 MW of wind and/or solar via one or more long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), and renewable energy certificates produced from Eligible Renewable Resources.
2023 PJM Capacity Solicitation
American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEPSC) as agent for its operating companies is seeking pricing for PJM Capacity Planning Year 2025/2026 and Planning Year 2026/2027. Counterparties are welcome to bid on one or both Planning Years.
