Brad Hall is vice president of external affairs for Appalachian Power Company, with responsibility for customer services, corporate communications, government affairs, economic development, community affairs and environmental issues covering the company’s territories in Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Previously, Hall was external affairs manager at Kentucky Power Company, responsible for economic and business development, governmental affairs, and environmental issues in the company’s 20-county service area.

Before joining Kentucky Power in 2012, Hall was an entrepreneur who co-owned Classic Home Designs, Inc. in Pikeville, Ky., and simultaneously served as the president and chief executive officer of Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he served as the director of revenue assurance and director of operations for SouthEast Telephone in Pikeville. He also was the controller and office manager of Mountain Water District. He started his career as an accountant at Eastern Telephone Company and the University of Kentucky.

Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Ky., and a Master of Business Administration from Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky.
